Vehicles that run using fuel does so by burning the fuel inside combustion chamber. When anything burns smoke and soot is formed. Only 80% of the carbon so formed during combustion is ejected out through the exhaust. Rest 10% is removed through lubrication oil change. Remaining about 10% remains inside the combustion chamber on the valves, cylinder head, piston-top, cylinder wall etc.
This sticky carbon is the silent killer of vehicle’s engine. There was only one solution to remove this carbon which was overhauling the engine. No. The hydrogen does not reconstitute back into water.
Hydrogen and oxygen gas enter the engine through the air intake in diesel vehicles or through vacuum pipe in petrol engines. The Hydrogen and oxygen gas burn with a much higher temperature and much faster than the fuel. This heat generated with an excess of oxygen then reacts with the carbon and the resulting gases exit the car via the exhaust system, cleaning the components on the way out , i.e. the turbo, the EGR, DPF etc on diesel cars.
This is a service to remove carbon build-up. If your vehicle has a pre-existing issue or fault which is being masked by the carbon build up and perhaps the carbon is the only thing still holding a part together, (e.g. a failing catalytic converter) then the removal of the carbon will expose the issue.
